Workshop

A shop space is just as important to the maker as it is to their client.

At Appenzeller Woodworking, you’re not putting extra dollars toward outsourcing work. Everything is done right here in-house with a fully outfitted shop.

This page is just a brief outline of my shop journey. I started woodworking out of a carport in Los Angeles, collecting equipment as I went and learning how to use and take care of it. After a few garage shops, I began apprenticing for a furniture maker whose shop-mate suggested I move to Maine and attend the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship.

After a 3-month intensive and a brief employment maintaining equipment, I moved into a local cabinet maker’s shop. I was subsequently blessed with the opportunity to share a space with the famed Tim Rousseau in a large shop in Camden, Maine where I work today!

 Welcome to my workshop!
